Nobel Peace Prize winner and pioneer of microcredit, Professor Muhammad Yunus, and the economist Dr Dambisa Moyo author of Dead Aid, debate the scope and benefits of micro finance, where low interest loans are extended to the world’s poorest people (Feb 27, 2009).

Moyo should also add that aid is not free; it comes with lots of poor quality, unaccountable advice which wastes a lot of time and resources of the poor.
